The Songs and Tours Behind the Designs
Every design in this store starts with something from my world: an album title, a lyric, a tour or a line you might know by heart. Here's the story behind the main ones.
What does "You'll Be Alright, Kid" mean?
It's the title of my debut EP, You'll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1) from 2024, and of my first album from July 2025, the one with "Ordinary" on it. It reads like a promise, which is why so many designs carry it:
- The Album sets it like a record sleeve, with "an album by alexwarren" underneath
- The Arch pairs a tall title on the back with A.WARREN on the front
- The Script sweeps "Alright," across the middle in pale blue
- The Cowboy Teddy Bear puts the words on a little bear's shirt
Which lyric is on the tightrope designs?
The back of Tightrope Star and Tightrope Cream shows a boy balancing along a wall, above the line "been walking on a tight rope, juggling high hopes and reality". It's how "First Time on Earth" opens, a song about growing up and realising your parents were figuring it out too.
What was Cheaper Than Therapy?
Cheaper Than Therapy was my 2025 tour, and the design runs with the joke: a long queue at the door marked "Alex Warren Tickets" and one lonely person at the door marked "Therapy".
Why "Dead Parents Club"?
I've been open about losing my father when I was nine and my mother in 2021, and I'm not afraid to joke about it. Dead Parents Club wraps that dark humour in a tennis-club look, for anyone who has been there too.
And "Today Again"?
"You'll never have to do today again" is a line from my merch. The Today Again design puts it small on the front and big on the back.
